【Job Description】
- Management
・Project management of the new model development. and Task management of Chassis design group(Indoor & Outdoor).
・Make schedules and work allocation, and design reviews, etc.
・Make document for development (specifications, design note, review materials, etc.)
・Coordinate tasks with Factory and Head office (Japan) related parties
・Analyze development issues and consider countermeasures
・Arrangements support for application work for target country with Regulation depertment.
- Design leader
・Consider design and specifications to meet the requirements from the design base model. e.g　
・Design structure comply with regulation (flame retardant, installation improvement)
・Adjust operating parameters such as air volume for achieve target spec.
・Consider microcomputer parameters for new function　(fan speed , protection range etc.)
・Decision making in design development
・Evaluation test. consider test items and do the test (prepare, modify, setting, do, report)
・Chassis Design. consider how to design, make design document and review it (Indoor & Outdoor).
・Chassis detail Design. Modeling and Drawing, Check subordinate.
(External parts, blowers, and electrical equipment boxes sheet metal parts, plastic parts etc.)
・Create Structure tables and assembly procidure document.and check it.
・Judgement of Evaluation test. check criteria and check issue items.
e.g.the performance of blowers, transport packing, noise, operate temperature range etc.

【Qualification】
⎼ Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering or a related field.
⎼ At least 10 years of experience in air conditioner design and development.
⎼ At least 3 years of experience in a management position.
- Logical thinking and business communication skills
(e.g., organize discussions, discuss own opinions, summarize using consise phrases and diagrams)
- Management develop schedules and personnel (human resouses and training plans)
- Positive thinking and willingness to learn new knowledge
- Work experience in a product development group ( air conditioners, etc.)
e.g., experience in project management and instructing subordinates, think task allocation as a team leader.
- Experience of Design review of the development
- Knowledge of manufacturing and cost management.
- Experience of Chassis designing, e.g. plastic or sheet metal parts (5 years or more)
- Basic PC skills (Excel, Word)
- Experience in CAD 2D/3D design
- Decision making in design development
- Experience of design for large air conditioner for buildings (VRF)
- Experience of design indoor units (duct, ceiling cassette)
- Experience of design the refrigeration cycle of an air conditioner
⎼ Good communication skills in English.
⎼ Japanese communication ability is a plus.
