【Job Description】
Logistics Tasks
- Prepare accurate proforma invoice, sales contracts, purchase orders and quotations according to clients' requests.
- Coordinate with supplier in Japan to confirm ex-factory date and plan for shipment, as well as negotiating about price, sample request, etc.
- Plan and check shipping schedule on both sea and air freight to confirm ETD and ETA with clients.
- Actively keep clients updated about order status if there is any unexpected issue such as production or shipment delay.
- Prepare necessary export and import documents and share with freight forwarders and courier companies.
- Work closely with freight forwarders and courier to complete customs clearance process and import/export activities.
- Prepare stock summary report on monthly basis and send to accounting department.
- Manage physical stock at company's warehouses and arrange delivery both in Thailand and overseas.
Customer Service Tasks
- Reply to overseas and Thailand customers' call/inquiries (about products, checking stock, delivery date, etc.) and solve customers' problems.
- Receive forecast, place orders to HQ, compare the forecast with actual sales (Analysis).
- Handle overseas and Thailand customers' POs.
- Check PO contents compared to latest quotation and progress the order.
- Issue overseas documents such as I/V, packing list and manage to send to overseas customers timely.
- Issue domestic documents such as D/O, I/V, Tax Inv, Receipt, Billing Note, etc. and manage to send to domestic customers timely.
- Manage price list / selling record for each customer.
- Make customer list and maintain customer database.
【Qualification】
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Business, Business Administration or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, import/export operations, or international trade.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English (communication and negotiation with overseas customers). Japanese is a plus.
- Basic knowledge in logistics such as import/export process, customs clearance, freight forwarding (Sea & Air), insurance and EPA documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Teams, SharePoint). Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, flexible, able to handle challenging situations and multi-tasking.
